Our rules can be found on many of the activities pages, and here we take the safety of our diggers very seriously!

To enjoy the park to the max, follow these simple rules:

1. General Use

  • Little Diggers is a separate radio-controlled hire area within Jump Giants.
  • By hiring, you agree to follow all rules and respect others.
  • We may refuse service to anyone acting disruptively or unsafely.

2. Radio Controlled Hire

  • Models must stay within the sandpit area.
  • Hire is per session and subject to availability.
  • Follow staff instructions at all times.
  • Children under 7 must be supervised by an adult.

3. Safety

  • Operate models carefully - no rough play, crashes, or sand throwing.
  • No public access inside the sandpit (staff only).
  • Misuse may end your session without refund - these are scale models, not toys.

4. Liability

  • Use at your own risk. Little Diggers/Jump Giants is not liable for injury, loss, or damage caused by misuse or ignoring rules.
  • Customers are responsible for any deliberate or negligent damage.

5. Food & Drink

  • Only food/drink bought on-site may be consumed.
  • Keep all food/drink away from the sandpit.

6. Bookings & Refunds

  • Sessions can be pre-booked or bought on the day (subject to availability).
  • No refunds for no-shows or early finishes.
  • Cancel up to 7 days in advance for a full refund – same-day cancellations are non-refundable.

7. Photography & Media

  • Photos/videos may be taken for marketing. Let staff know if you don’t wish to appear.

Q: Do I need to book the sessions in advance?

A: Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend booking at busy times (weekends, holidays) to guarantee a slot.

Q: How long does each hire session last?

A: Sessions are typically 60 minutes including 40 minutes of drive/dig time depending on the machine and package chosen. Our staff will be on hand to show you how to operate all vehicles

Q: Is there an age limit?

A: Children under 7yrs must be closely supervised by a responsible adult at all times and some models may be restricted to older children or adults for safety reasons.

Q: Can I bring my own Radio-controlled model?

A: At present, only hired models can be used in the sandpit to ensure safety and fairness.

Q: What happens if a model breaks while I’m using it?

A: If it’s normal wear and tear, no problem it will be replaced. If it’s due to misuse or deliberate damage, you may be charged for repairs.

Q: Can I eat and drink in the sandpit area?

A: You are welcome to place your drink or food on the counter top around the sandpit seating area. Please note, this area of seating is reserved for those who have booked a hire model session. If you are not participating in that current session, please allow those who are priority with the seating. We have tables and chairs to use if you would just like to enjoy a drink or snack.

Q: Do you host parties or group bookings?

A: Yes! We offer birthday party packages; exclusive group hire plus corporate & team building events - Please ask our staff or visit the website for details
